From Ideas to Impact
Students and faculty from colleges in Pune came together at BRIC - National Centre for Cell Science, for an interactive session on the #designforbioe3challenge of DBT, which encourages the youth to convert scientific ideas into sustainable solutions. Our faculty and INYAS member, Dr. Avinash Sharma, who led this session, informed them of the initiatives of the Department of Biotechnology, India, aimed at promoting innovative ideas in #biotechnology under the #BioE3 policy. Brainstorming as a group, the students explored how ideas in biology could be translated into impactful solutions. This outreach event was jointly organised with the Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS-Indian National Science Academy -INSA).
