Abstract Submission Guidelines

We invite researchers, clinicians, and students to submit abstracts for presentation at the International Conference on Cutting Edge Research & Innovations in Cancer Towards Improving Patient Outcomes, to be held at BRIC-NCCS, Pune, India, from November 6–8, 2025. This meeting will showcase advances across the spectrum of cancer biology and foster cross-disciplinary collaborations.

Scope of Submissions

Abstracts are welcome in all areas of cancer research, including but not limited to:
Tumor heterogeneity and the microenvironment; cancer cell signaling, immunology, vaccines, and metastasis; genomics, proteomics, and proteo-genomics; cancer metabolism and novel therapies; data analysis with AI and machine learning; patient advocacy linking science and society.

Selection criteria

Abstracts will be considered for poster presentations and a limited number of short oral presentations, selected by the Scientific Committee based on quality, novelty, and relevance to the conference themes.

Efforts will be made to ensure diversity across institutes, genders, and career stages.
Acceptance and presentation decisions will be communicated shortly after the submission deadline.

Submission Requirements

All participants are required to use the official abstract template, which can be downloaded [here], and submit their abstracts in the prescribed MS Word format via the Google Form.

Abstract Content

Each submission must include a precise title, a complete list of authors with institutional affiliations (up to 15 names displayed if there are more), and the full names of all authors written as given name followed by surname. The presenting author may be listed in any order but must be clearly indicated by bold and underlined text. Corresponding author(s) should be marked with an asterisk (*) and accompanied by an email address. The abstract text should not exceed 300 words and must be accompanied by three to five keywords, preferably not repeating words used in the title. Authors must also select the most appropriate theme from the conference tracks indicated in the abstract template, and references should be provided if the research is already published in part or in full.

Formatting and Submission

Abstracts must be written in clear, grammatical English and must be free of plagiarism. The official abstract template must be used, with the text formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, and specified margins. Submissions must be uploaded as .docx Word documents only; older formats such as .doc (1997–2000) will not be accepted. Please delete the instruction page in the template before submission.

Review Process

All abstracts will undergo review by at least two independent experts to assess scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes. Submissions may be selected for poster presentations or, in a limited number of cases, short oral presentations. Efforts will be made to ensure diversity across institutions, genders, and career stages when finalizing selections. Please indicate the preferred presentation format (poster and/or oral).

Abstract Book

All accepted abstracts will be published in the official conference abstract book, which will be made available online.
