| 2. | PhD COURSEWORK | 6 months | A six months coursework for the PhD programme is conducted during Aug-Jan every year. |
| 3. | PROJECT TRAINING | 6 months OR 1 year |
Project training is conducted twice a year. The tentative schedule of publication of an advertisement is given below: Session I (January - June) OR (January – December) – Advertisement will be published in the month of September of every year on our website. Session II (July - December) OR (July to June) – Advertisement will be published in the month of March of every year on our website. |
| 4. | SUMMER TRAINING | 2 months between April to August |
NCCS does not admit students directly for Summer Training Programme. However, candidates selected as Summer Research Fellow (SRF) by the Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS), are admitted for 2 months of training. Students who are interested in Summer Training at NCCS may apply to the Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) SRF Program with a preference indicated for NCCS. |
